QEC-NWSM arranged a visit of the Assessment Team to assess the Self-Assessment Report (SAR) on 22nd June 2023 at 10 am at the Principal Secretariat. The attendees of the meeting included Prof. Dr. Noor-ul-Iman Principal-NWSM, Dr. Neelum Ali Focal person QEC-NWSM, and Program Team members (Basic and Clinical Sciences Faculty).
On completion of the SAR, an Assessment Team was constituted on June 21, 2023, comprising two external and seven internal members. Prof. Dr. Shafiq Ur Rehman, Advisor Quality Assurance, Higher Education Department, Govt. of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and Dr. Niaz Muhammad, Professor, Department of Anatomy, Kabir Medical College, Peshawar participated in the meeting as External Evaluators. During the meeting, the SAR was thoroughly evaluated by the Assessment Team.
Both external members highly appreciated the thoroughness of the Report and the preparation of members to respond to different queries. With the completion of the meeting, the SAR is now considered finalized and ready to be submitted to KMU/HEC. The SAR submission will provide a comprehensive overview of the program’s achievements, challenges, and plans for improvement, ensuring transparency in the college’s academic endeavors.
