27 students of Northwest School of Medicines awarded merit scholarship.
Each year, the Northwest School of Medicine awards merit scholarships to MBBS position holders in order to financially assist and encourage them by waiving off 25% from their fee. This year, the scholarships were awarded to 27 students, amounting to a total value of Rs. 6.7 million.
The scholarship award ceremony was graced by Mr. Kamran Bangash, Special Assistant to the Chief Minister for Higher Education who distributed cheques among the students.
The event was also attended by Chairman Alliance Healthcare Prof. Dr. Tariq Khan Hashim, CEO Northwest General Hospital Dr. Zia ur Rehman, Principal Northwest School of Medicine Prof. Dr. Noor ul Eman, faculty members and students.
