Northwest School of Medicine Shines with ‘W Category’ Quality Award from KMU QEC!
We are excited to announce that the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) at Northwest School of Medicine (NWSM) has achieved a significant milestone by receiving the prestigious ‘Quality Award’ with an impressive score of 92% (Top 5, among the KMU-affiliated medical and dental colleges category, from the QEC, Khyber Medical University (KMU). This recognition highlights QEC-NWSM’s exceptional performance in meeting the prescribed Performance Targets for 2024 and underscores our institution’s ongoing commitment to excellence in medical education.
The award ceremony, held on November 20, 2024, at the Hafeezullah Auditorium, was a distinguished event that saw the presence of key figures, including Vice Chancellors from various universities and heads of institutions. Under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Syeda Asiyah Bukhari, the ceremony was graced by Prof. Dr. Zia ul Qayyum, Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Islamabad, who presented the awards to top-performing institutions.
Dr. Neelum Ali, Head of QEC-NWSM, proudly received this prestigious award on behalf of the school. Vice Chancellor KMU, Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq expressed his satisfaction with the achievements of KMU and its affiliated institutions.
