On June 5, 2024, the Pashto Day event was organized by the Northwest School of Medicine Literary Society.
The event was a huge success, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of the Pashto language through diverse activities.
From the soulful Tilawat-e-Qur’an-e-Pak to the energetic Pashto Anthem, the program was filled with exciting performances, including a humorous tappy, a thought-provoking cultural play, and a satirical skit on teacher-student relationships.
The Tribal Showcase was a highlight, with students sharing their tribal histories, cultural features, and traditional attire.
The event also featured a comedic news segment, a heartfelt tribute to literary secretaries, and a captivating poetry recital by Zia ud Din Takkur.
The audience was entertained by a lively live music session and a vibrant Attan dance, embodying the spirit of Pashto culture!
Inspiring speeches from Chief Organizer Mansoor Khan, Literary Section Incharge Armaghan Ali, Literary Secretary Muhammad Anas, and Chief Guest Prof. Dr. Yaseen Iqbal concluded the celebration.
