Quality Enhancement Cell, Northwest School of Medicine Hosts Successful Workshop on ‘Enhancing the Quality of Education Through Self-Assessment’
On May 29th and 30th, 2024, QEC-NWSM, arranged a two-day workshop on “Enhancing the Quality of Education Through Self-Assessment.” in collaboration with the Khyber Medical University. This initiative, aimed at enriching faculty (Clinical & Basic Sciences) with essential knowledge on preparing Self-Assessment Reports (SARs) and understanding the self-assessment mechanism, marked a significant step in educational development. Dr. Asiyah Bukhari, Director QEC, KMU, served as the resource person, delivering insights and methodologies crucial for elevating educational standards through challenging self-assessment practices.
The event concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony graced by the presence of Principal Dr. Noor ul Iman. In his concluding remarks, Dr. Noor ul Iman emphasized the key role of self-assessment in fostering continuous improvement within educational institutions. He expressed gratitude to Dr. Bukhari for her invaluable contributions.
