Social welfare is often considered as “a necessary thread in the fabric of social structure.” The broad horizons cover various charitable works, organized activities related to social reform movements and non-profit or public social services designed to protect or benefit various individuals, including students, patients, and underprivileged citizens.
Social welfare society (SWS) of Northwest School of medicine, established in 2017 covers a wide variety of initiatives and activities designed to help the needy individuals and provide social welfare programs. The society comprises of three wings; the blood wing, patient care wing, and student care wing. Previously, SWS held a range of activities and services provided by the volunteers, that included a blood donation drive, an annual medical camp, fundraiser movie nights, and an Eid gift pack for SOS village orphans.
We at Northwest School of Medicine intend to encourage students to join the society as it aims at arousing deep compassion for helping those in need by providing a basic level of human and social rights.
Our goal is produce doctors that are compassionate, and have an eye for the underprivileged around us, and InshaAllah we believe that SWS NWSM will be a desirable model for all the welfare societies in the region.

Message from General Secretary
Generosity doesn’t have to be a material like a gift or money. Sometimes generosity is as simple as offering a smile or taking a few extra minutes to talk to someone who needs it.
Real generosity is doing something nice for someone who will never find out.
You have not lived today until you have done something for someone who can never repay you.
It is said that you can’t take it with you; I say there are two things you can take with you: the things you do for others and the things you do to others.
DaeimSocial Welfare Society comprises of three wings; the blood wing, patient care wing, and student care wing. It provides a range of activities that includes a Funfair, blood donation drive, an annual medical camp, fundraiser movie nights, Iftar Drives in Ramazanand an Eid Clothes and Gifts Drive for orphans in orphanages all over Peshawar.
Our goal is produce doctors that are compassionate, and have an eye for the underprivileged around us, and we believe that Daeimwill be a desirable model for all the welfare societies in the region.

Message of the secretary
“Do you know what my favorite part of the game is? It’s the Opportunity to play!”
Heywood Broun said, “Sports does not build character it reveals it”, so other than curriculum based activities, co-curricular sports help us express our emotions and feelings freely and that’s why Northwest School of Medicine gladly introduced the Sports Society in it’s founding year 2017.
Designed to improve team spirit, physical and mental health the Sports Society has previously arranged Annual Sports Week; weeks filled with excitement, thrill and fun.
Inter-class games such as outdoor: football, cricket, volleyball, basketball, athletics and indoor: ludo, chess, table tennis and much more have been organized by hard working students and supporting authorities and staff members, some of which are soon to be extended as inter-college matches Inshah-Allah.
Our aspiration is to inspire the present and future batches of NWSM to convert their sedentary lifestyles into a vibrant, refreshed and non-biased atmosphere.
To Sport Discipline the body and mind to co-operate with frenemies is the prime objective of the Sports Society as, “Victory is in the quality of competition and not the final score”–Mike Marshall; however certificates or prizes are usually awarded to the teams for group efforts
