Northwest School of Medicine Achieves Momentous Milestone with Prestigious ‘W Category’ Quality Award from KMU QEC
In a momentous occasion that marks a significant milestone in the pursuit of excellence, Northwest School of Medicine has been honored with the first of its kind Quality Award ‘W category’ by the Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC), Khyber Medical University (KMU). This recognition comes as a result of the QEC-NWSM outstanding performance in meeting the prescribed performance targets, marking a significant milestone in the institution’s dedication to excellence. The distinguished award ceremony, under the dynamic leadership of Dr. Syeda Asiyah Bukhari was held at the Hafeezullah Auditorium on 29th December 2023.
Prof. Dr. Noor ul Iman Principal NWSM, and Dr. Neelum Ali Focal Person QEC-NWSM, proudly received this Award. In addition, the QEC officers Mr. Mubassir Shah and Mr. Aman Ullah participated in the award ceremony. This award not only recognizes the efforts of the QEC but also emphasizes the institution’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards in medical education.
The event was graced by the presence of distinguished chief guest Mr. Muhammad Arshad Khan Secretary Higher Education Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Notable attendees included VC KMU Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq, former VC KMU Prof. Dr. Hafeezullah, Dr. Jameel Ahmad from HEC, VC Hazara University, Dr. Zia ul Islam Policy Board Chairman, and Prof. Dr. Shafiq ur Rehman, Advisor Quality Assurance HED Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
